Membership

To become a member of Horizons you must pay an annual fee of £26. This is payable through the website. Membership starts from the first of the month in which you joined (i.e. if you joined on 16th February 2012, your membership will run from 1st February 2012 until 31st January 2013. Your membership will be renewed on that date each year until you cancel.

By becoming a member you are agreeing to behave in an appropriate manner; to be polite, friendly and courteous to all Horizons attendees, staff, volunteers and external contractors leading events. You are also agreeing to act in a safe and responsible manner when participating in any Horizons event. Directors of Horizons reserve the right to end a person’s membership at any time.

A person can cancel their membership at any time by emailing admin@hpclub.co.uk however the membership fee is non-refundable.

If you introduce a friend who then joins Horizons as a member we will give you a £5 credit to be redeemed against future events. There is no limit to the number or friends you can introduce and be rewarded for. There is no limit to the number of £5 credits you redeem against any one event. As a member you will receive a quarterly newsletter with information and pictures of recent events and a list of forthcoming events.

Members will not have to pay for any introductory evenings run by Horizons.

Event Cancellation Policy

We will always do our best to refund your money if you are unable to attend an activity that you have booked. However, when we as a club have incurred costs as part of the booking we will be unable to offer you a refund. If we are subsequently able to sell your booking on we will of course be able to offer you a full refund.

For events that have been organised by Horizons Pursuits Club, we require two weeks' notice of cancellation in order to receive a full refund.

If the cancellation policy changes for any event it will be stated on the website.
