About our Activity and Social Events Club

Boring evenings and weekends are a thing of the past with Horizons Pursuits - Hampshire's friendliest social events club. Each month Horizons offers a variety of social events ranging from kayaking on the river to sophisticated restaurant dinner parties.

Adrenaline junkies will love abseiling, white-water rafting and zorbing, while others may prefer our country pub cycle rides, rambling evenings, Mongolian yurt weekends and horse riding. Whatever your tastes, you'll find something to suit you. We also organise the occasional 'away' weekend. Our Mongolian Yurt weekends in the Forest of Dean (Wales) always prove popular.

The social element of the club is every bit as important as the activities. Anyone over the age of 18 with a good sense of humour can come along. For some activities (such as our restaurant based dinner parties) we will group you with those of a similar age, other events are a free-for-all.

While our events are not specifically singles events or dating events, many of our members are single so you certainly won't feel left out if you come along alone. Many members are new to the area and looking to expand their social circle so pop along to one of our events and you might meet some new friends.

Unlike other social events clubs there's no joining fee, no membership fee and no contract - you pay only for the events you attend. To book an event from the event calendar, just follow the booking instructions at the button at the bottom of the page. Please be aware that our most popular events can sell out well before the week of the event, so please book early.

We are a really friendly club welcoming anyone looking to meet new people and make new friends. Perfect for anyone who's new to the area, newly single or anyone simply looking to expand your social circle.
